Granny's Obituary


FRANCES OMEGA NUCKOLLS, 82, died on Monday, 10/9/2006, after a long illness. She was a retired nursery worker for West Frayser Baptist Church. She enjoyed making crafts of all kinds, sharing these as gifts, and selling them for decades at many local shows. She was a loving mother and grandmother and who will be greatly missed by all her friends and relatives. She was a valued and long time member of West Frayser Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Edward H. "Buddy" Nuckolls, and also preceded by brothers, Leo Smith of Bolivar, TN., Curtis Willoughby of Badin Lake, NC., and a sister, Earline Villines, of Nashville, TN., She is survived by brothers, Elvin Willoughby and Frank Willoughby of Toone, TN., and Willard Smith of Bolivar, TN. She is also survived by a son, Lawrence E. "Larry" Nuckolls, of Memphis, TN., a daughter, Patricia L...Pat.. Wright of Pinehurst, NC., and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 13, with funeral services at Memphis Funeral Home - North Germantown Rd 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
Bartlett, TN 38133
on Saturday, October 14 at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens

Life comes full circle for me.....

Today I attended the church that I grew up in, for the first time in about 15 years or so I guess. My grandmother asked us to go with her, so how could I refuse. It had not changed one bit since the way that I remembered it. It is the second week in a row that I have gone to church. That is definitely a good thing. Back to work tomorrow, I get a raise on Tuesday. I will finally have a little extra money when I get my next check on the 19th. It is so nice to have a steady stream of income again. I am planning on selling some more eBay stuff, so that will help out with the savings plan. Wayne Gretzky was just named the new coach of the Phoenix Coyotes, so that means I will have to go to see another game in Nashville since I have never met The Great One. The Predators just signed Paul Kariya, so that is another reason to check out some hockey. Well, I think that is all that I can think of at the moment. Until next time.....
