Movies and an update on my life's goings on

Well, I have been pretty busy since the last time I posted a blog entry. An update on my grandmother: She is doing many times better than she was when we took her to the hospital on Sunday. It looks like she will even be coming home on Tuesday or Wednesday. Thanks to all that have been praying for her. I told you that he listens!!!! Please continue as she will have some rehab once she gets out. She is anxious to return home so that she can catch up on her Walker, Texas Ranger rereuns!!! =)

I have been spending a lot of time at the hospital and giving my Dad a shoulder to lean on. My aunt came in from North Carolina for a couple of days to check on my grandmother. I also defrosted the freezer and organized the food closets. They were out of control. I threw some things out in the garbage that may smell worse than anything I have smelled in my life.

Now to two movies that I caught this week......The first is "The Break-Up" starring Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston. I liked this movie. Let me preface this by saying that I am a huge fan of Vince Vaughn and I think that he has a great delivery for comedy. He was no different in this movie. The only bad thing about it is it kind of brought some old not so nice memories about the break up of my own marriage. I thought that Justin Long was very funny also as a receptionist at the gallery where Jennifer Aniston's character worked. The movie kind of died at the end but had many laugh out loud moments including a performance by the Tone Rangers. You will have to see the movie to find out what I am talking about.

The second movie that I saw this week was "Nacho Libre" starring the always hilarious Jack Black. This movie was pretty funny. I am a huge fan of "Napolean Dynamite", so I got this film and its humor. I am also a wrestling fan, so I understood the importance of lucha libre wrestling to the mexican people. There are some great quotes in the movie, my favorite being:"Sometimes you wear the stretchy pants for fun" or something to that effect. I could not hear much of the dialouge because of some rude people behind us but I got the jist of the physical gags. I hope to maybe go see this again.

Well, next week is going to be big for me. I am going to have to get on the job hunt with a vengeance due to this delay caused by my grandmother's illness. I hope to find a job quickly. I also have a few errands that I need to run like car tag renewals(w/ inspection), getting some medicine refilled, calling my attorney to work out my Chapter 13 case that is still screwed up, and maybe starting divorce recovery class. A full plate, I know.
